EIGHTY-EIGHT. AKA and see "Hanskin," "Jog On (Jog On the Footpath Way)." The tune appears under this title in Thomas D'Urfey's Pills to Purge Melancholy (1707), taken from a ballad set to the melody about the Spanish Armada, beginning "Some years of late, in eighty-eight" or "In eighty-eight, ere I was born."
