SAUGER SAKE QUADRILLE. American, Dance Tune (2/4 time). USA, northern Michigan. The second change of this quadrille is in the keys of B Flat and F Major. A 3rd part, in E Flat Major, was dropped from oral tradition in northern Michigan, remarks music researcher Paul Gifford. Canadian radio and TV fiddler Don Messer recorded the second change of “Sauger Sake” as “Atlantic Polka No. 2.”
