SÉAMUS CONNOLLY’S JIG [2]. AKA – “McKenna’s Jig.” AKA and see "O'Meara's." Irish, Jig (6/8 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Composed by the late County Tipperary fiddler Seán Ryan (d. 1985), included in his collection The Hidden Ireland. Seamus Connolly, who won the All-Ireland fiddle championship in 1961 and 1963. He is now director of Boston College’s famed Irish music program. A different tune than “Seamus Connolly’s Jig [1]."

Source for notated version: - “based partly on the playing of Paddy Reynolds (1920-2005) of (Staten Island,) New York, who used it to accompany step dancers” [Miller & Perron].
