SEÁN RYAN'S FANCY HORNPIPE. AKA and see "Swan (The)." Irish, Hornpipe. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune is sometimes played in the key of A Major. It was composed by Seán Ryan (d. 1985), who originally entitled it "The Swan." It is called by the name of the great County Tipperary fiddler in deference to him.
