AKA and see "Royal Belfast," "Millicent's Hornpipe," "Millicen's Favourite," “Millicent’s Favourite,” "Sweep's Hornpipe (1)," "Great Eastern Hornpipe (The)" “Great Western Hornpipe (The).” Irish, English, Scottish; Hornpipe. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBC (Martin): AABBCC (Allan, Kennedy, O'Neill). The name Belfast means 'crossing place by a sandbank'. As "The Sweep's Hornpipe" it is button accordion player Joe Derrane's signature tune.
