ALLUREMENT OF LOVE, THE (Serch Hudol). Welsh, Air (whole time). F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The song was set by classical composer Joseph Haydn as one of his Welsh songs for publisher George Thomson (1757-1781), although the text was by Thomson's friend, Scottish poet Robert Burns ("To thee, lov'd Dee, thy gladsome vales").
