SLIABH AUGHTY MARCH, THE. Irish, March (4/4 time). G Major: F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA’BB’. The tune was composed by Father P.J. Kelly, a Columban priest from Woodford, County Galway, notes Gearóid Ó hAllmhuráin. The Sliabh Aughty mountains stretch from east Clare to East Galway.
