BUMMER'S REEL [2]. AKA and see "Fletcher's Delight." Old-Time, Breakdown. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. A different tune than "Bummer's Reel (1)," from the playing of Vermont fiddler Elmer Barton, recorded for the Library of Congress by Alan Lomax in 1939. Barton was also a singer, visited in the mid-20th century by ballad collectors.
