COOK IN THE KITCHEN [2], THE (Carraig an tSoip). AKA and see "Angry Peeler (The)," "Boys of Thomastown (The)," "Buachailli Bhaile Mhic Anndain," "Drunken Gaugher (2) (The)." Irish, Double Jig. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune bears no resemblance to O'Neill's "Cook in the Kitchen" although it is the same tune as his "Angry Peeler (The)." "Drunken Gaugher (2) (The)" title is from the mid-19th century James Goodman Manuscripts (County Cork). See also "Tromore Jig (The)."
