AABB'. "Close to the Floor," the name in Ryan's Mammoth Collection/Coles 1000, is the title that Gweedore, County Donegal, fiddler Danny O'Donnell recorded the tune under in 1939.

Murphy played old-style melodeon, and her brother was the noted box-player P. J. Conlon. She supposedly played when younger, but stopped for forty years while she raised a family, only to resume playing later).
