HOLMES'S FANCY. English, Reel. England, Northumberland. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The melody is unique to John Peacock's (c. 1754-1817) collection [1] of tunes for the Northumbrian pipes. Matt Seattle believes this rant may have been a local piper's piece.
