KAY MACDOUGALL G(O)UTHRO. AKA - "Kay Guthro," "Kay Gouthro's Jig." Canadian, Jig. Canada, Cape Breton. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Composed in the 1970's by John MacDougall, "the most prolific composer in Cape Breton history," reputed to have penned some 25,000 tunes. "Kay MacDougall Guthro" has circulation in Cape Breton and even among some musicians Ireland.
