LADIES TRIUMPH [1]. AKA and see "Farewell to Whiskey (1)," "Goodbye Whiskey" (Pa.), "Young America," "Monday Morning" (Irish), "At the Fair," "Twin Sisters (5)." English, Country Dance Tune (2/4 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The earliest appearance of the tune was in Gow's Strathspey Reels, vol. 5, 1809, under the "Farewell to Whiskey" title--it is attributed to him in several early 19th century Scottish collections.
