MACPHERSON'S FAREWELL. See "MacPherson's Lament." Scottish, Air. "MacPherson's Farewell" is an alternate title for "MacPherson's Lament." "M'Pherson's Farewell" is the title poet Robert Burns used in his famous reworking of the traditional verses.
