NASSAU, THE. English, Country Dance Tune (9/4 time). A Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Nassau is the name of a town in Germany in the Rhineland-Palatinate. It was a part of the Holy Roman Empire until the time of Napoleon, and also lent its name to a series of German-Dutch states.
