NORFOLK HORNPIPE [1]. AKA and see "Men from Ulster (The)." American, Scottish; Hornpipe. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Composed by W.H. Whiddon, according to Ryan's Mammoth Collection. Lisa Ornstein points out that the first part of the tune is similar to (the second part of) another tune in the Ryan collection, "Whiddon's Hornpipe." O'Neill prints the tune as "Men from Ulster (The)."
