OLD BLIND DOG. AKA and see "Old Gray Mare (The)," "Old Yeller Dog." Old-Time, Breakdown. USA, Kentucky. A variation on "Old Gray Mare (The)" or "Old Gray Horse Came Tearing Out of the Wilderness." The tune was recorded by Kentucky-based Jimmy Johnson's String Band in Richmond, Indiana, in August, 1932; Andy Palmer was the fiddler.
