OLD PISS. AKA and see "Few Days (2)." American, March or Reel. USA, southwestern Pa. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. The alternate title, "Few Days", in this case a floater (i.e. it is applied to other tunes as well), was seldom used according to Bayard (1981), who stated that "Old Piss" was one of the best-known tunes among southwest Pennsylvania fifers.

Sources for notated versions: Marion Yoders (fiddler and fifer from Greene County, Pa., 1961), Hoge MS (Pennsylvania fife MS), Hiram Horner (Westmoreland and Fayette Counties, Pa., 1961) [Bayard].

Printed sources: Bayard (Dance to the Fiddle), 1981; No. 158A-C, pp. 95-96.
