PARHAM PLACE. English, Country Dance Tune (whole time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. The tune and country dance directions were first printed by London publisher John Walsh in his Second Book of the Compleat County Dancing-Master, 3rd edition, 1735 (and later edition of 1749). It was also published by John Johnson in his A Choice Collection of 200 Favourite Country Dances, vol. 3 (1744, p. 4).
