REEL DES BOTTES SAUVAGES. AKA and see "Reel du semeur." French-Canadian, Reel. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'. "Reel des bottes sauvages" was recorded by Montreal fiddler Joseph Allard (1873-1947) in 1937, released under the pseudonym 'Maxime Toupin'. Allard had previously recorded the tune as "Reel du semeur" in 1929 under his own name.
