CONNAUGHT REEL [4], A. Irish, Reel (whole time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. The tune appears in the large mid-19th century music manuscript collection of County Cork cleric and uilleann piper Canon biography:James Goodman. The first strain is cognate with "Lucy Campbell (4)," "Reel of Bervie," and "Lord Gordon's Reel, although the second strain differs.
