ROCKY ROAD [1]. AKA and see "Angeline the Baker." The title "Rocky Road" for the tune almost universally called "Angeline the Baker" is from retired coal miner and fiddler Floyd "Bert" Edwards (1900-1991), a native of the hills of Alleghany County, North Carolina. Edwards was a former member of the Virginia Playboys.
