FROLIC, THE. AKA and see "Blue Bonnets Hornpipe," "Brochan Lom," "Hot Punch," "Orange and Blue (2)," "Lick the Laddle Sandy (2)." Scottish, English; Reel. England, Northumberland. C Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. A 4/4 version of the tune usually known as "Orange and Blue," a jig. John Glen (1891) finds the earliest appearance of the tune in print in Joshua Campbell's 1778 collection (p. 14).
