REEL DE TADOUSSAC [2]. French-Canadian, Reel (cut time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). ABB. Recorded in Montreal in 1931 by fiddler René Houlé for Victor records. "Reel de Tadoussac (2)" is a close version of "<incipit title="load:parnell" width=850 link="https://tunearch.org/wiki/Parnell's Reel">Parnell's Reel</incipit>" and "<incipit title="load:lady" width=850 link="https://tunearch.org/wiki/Lady Gardner's">Lady Gardner's</incipit>" in Ryan's Mammoth Collection (1883). Irish versions of the reel are numerous and include "<incipit title="load:five" width=850 link="https://tunearch.org/wiki/Five Mile Chase (1)">Five Mile Chase (1)</incipit>" and, in the first strain, "<incipit title="load:miss" width=850 link="https://tunearch.org/wiki/Miss Dallahyde’s Reel">Miss Dallahyde’s Reel</incipit>".
