SHOEMAKER'S DAUGHTER [2]. AKA and see “O'Dowd’s Reel (2).” Irish, Reel (cut time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Composed in the 1950's by the late Philadelphia, Pa./County Cavan, Irish American fiddler and composer Ed Reavy (1898-1988). The melody was recorded in the 1970's by Galway-born fiddler Seamus Connelly.
