MOONLIGHT. American, Reel (cut time). A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBCC. Source Wallace Thompson maintained the tune was Scottish in origin that his grandmother used to hum and sing ('there were words but I can't remember them now') and who said it was old tune in her time.
