MR. DON'S STRATHSPEY. Scottish, Strathspey (whole time). F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. "Mr. Don's Strathspey" was composed by Major Logan in honor of Alexander Don. It was printed on a single sheet early in 1803 in Edinburgh by Gow & Shepherd with the note that the tune was danced to at the Queen's Assembly in Geo: Street Rooms on th e18th of January, 1803.
