SIR WILFRID/WILFRED LAURIER MARCH. AKA - "Marche Sir Wilfrid Laurier." French-Canadian, March (6/8 or 12/8 time). B Flat Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB' (Hinds): AA'BB'C (Carlin). "Good for 48 bar Canadian square figures” (Hinds). The tune was recorded in 1928 in Montreal by fiddler Joseph Allard and issued as "Marche Sir Wilfrid Laurier."
