SNUG IN A/THE BLANKET (Go dlut annsa susad/t-susa). AKA and see “Cailleach a Shúsa,” "Collough a thusa," "Hag in the Blanket." Irish, Double Jig (6/8 time). G Major. Standard tuning. AABB (S. Johnson): AABBCC (McNulty, O’Neill). The tonality is interesting: both parts spend much time in ‘D’ mixolydian, resolving to a G Major at the end of each. See also O’Farrell’s version under the title “Calloch a Theusa.”
