SPORTING DAYS OF EASTER [2], THE (Leathanta Spraoi na Cásca). AKA and see “Flurry Reel (The),” “Micho Russell’s Reel (5).” Irish, Reel (whole time). D Mixolydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Source Micho Russell had no name for it, and Breathnach gave it the name of a tune he found in a manuscript collection (only the first strain was the same, however). Arty McGlynn called the reel “Micho Russell’s” on his album “Lead the Knave.” O'Neill's "Merry Days of Easter (The)" is a similar title, but a different melody.
