PANDER DANCE. Irish, Jig (6/8 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. "Pander Dance" is possibly a corruption of "Pandean Dance." The provenance of the tune is unknown, though certainly known in Ireland. Researchers Conor Ward and Fr. John Quinn find Ryan's "Pander Dance" is a version of the family that includes "Italian Monfrina" and "Monderine," but also the Irish "Father Fielding's Favorite" and "Four Courts (The)."
