ANN SHEENY McAULIFFE. Irish, Polka (2/4 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune is associated with the playing of Terry "Cuz" Teahan (1905-1989), originally from Glountane, south County Kerry, but who lived many decades in Chicago, Illinois, where he worded for the Illinois Central and where he was an integral part of the Chicago Irish session scene. The polka is often called by one or more variations of his name i.e. "Teahan's Polka," "Cuz Teahan's," "Terry Cuz Teahan's" etc.
