TOM KEANE'S REEL (Ríl Thomáis Uí Chéin). AKA – “Tom Kane’s.” AKA and see “Monaghan Twig (1),” “Tinker’s Apron (The).” Irish, Reel. A Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'B. The tune is named after Dublin fiddler John Kelly Sr.’s uncle. Philippe Varlet says Breathnach should have transcribed the tune in two sharps (A Mixolydian).
