CHARLIE MULVIHILL'S [2]. Irish, Reel (whole time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. Fr. John Quinn finds the tune a key of 'D' setting of "Garret Barry's Reel," "itself a variant of "Miss McLeod's Reel (1)/Mrs. MacLeod of Raasay," and he points out that "O'Neill's "Grey Plover (The)" is another variation on this theme, and probably was Garret Barry's model."
