TEAGUE'S RAMBLES.AKA and see "Carolan's Rambles to Teague." Irish, Air (9/8 time). D Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBCCDD. A lively Irish air composed by the harper Tadhg MacDonal MacRory of Townagh, County Clare, in the first half of the 16th century. It was printed by Playford in 1651 as "Irish Lady (The)" or "An(n)iseed Water Robin." The melody can also be found in Dublin music publisher Maurice Hime’s New Selection...Irish Airs (c. 1800).
