MATILDA MURDOCH (1920-2019) was a revered New Brunswick fiddler and composer from Miramichi. She learned to play the fiddle as a child and played and performed throughout her life, and her compositions numbered into the hundreds. Many of her tunes were 'covered' by other musicians, including Don Messer.
