MR. STEWART (JUNR.) OF CARNOCK('S REEL). AKA - "Stewart's Reel." Scottish, Slow Reel. B Flat Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Composed by Edinburgh cellist and composer wikipedia:Joseph Reinagle (1762-1825), an expatriate or son of an expatriate Austro-Hungarian trumpeter who was once a member of the Old Pretender's entourage in 1715. After studying he violoncello under Schetky (who married his sister), and the violin under Aragoni, Reinagle became leader of the Edinburgh Theatre Band. Nathaniel Gow was his pupil for a time. Reinagle moved to Dublin for a few years before settling in London where he was principal cello at the Salomon concerts under Haydn, and died in the city in 1825.
Carnock Castle is an estate and mansion in Stirlingshire, first built in 1548.
