TEAR THE CALLIES. AKA and see "Castle Jig (1) (The)," “Kerrigan's Jig,” “Kesh Jig (1) (The),” "Kincora Jig," "Little Boy Ted in the Hay," “Mountaineers' March (The).” Irish, Slide (12/8 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. "Tear the Callies" is an early version of the tune almost universally known today as "Kesh Jig (1) (The)," here transcribed as a 12/8 slide by collector George Petrie (1790-1866).
