TAYLOR’S HORNPIPE [2]. AKA and see “Phillips's Hornpipe.” Irish, Hornpipe (cut time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Uilleann piper and variety stage entertainer Patsy Touhey recorded the tune for Capt. Francis O’Neill on a home cylinder machine in the early years of the 20th century. The tune, however, may have an English provenance as "Phillips's Hornpipe."
