"The Witches [2]" was composed by Scottish fiddler-composer and bandleader biography:Joseph Lowe and is a companion piece to his brother Robert's "Warlock's Strathspey" and both were inspired by Robert Burns' poem "Tam o'Shanter" (see Lowe's "annotation: Tam's Grey Mare" for more information).
