ST. ADELE'S REEL. Canadian, Reel (whole time). G Major ('A' part) & D Major ('B' part). Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Joe Pancerzewski learned this tune in Canada in the 1920's. This tune was in the repertoires of Manitoba fiddler Andy Dajarlis as well as Down-east fiddler Don Messer. Sainte-Adèle is a town in Quebec northwest of Montreal although it is not clear if the tune is named for the town.
