LIMERICK RACES [1]. AKA and see "I'm Ow're Young," "I'm O'er Young to Marry Yet (2)," "Were You at the Fair?" Irish (?), Polka (2/4 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune is of unknown provenance. Howe listed it among his Irish Airs, with an Irish title, but a later Howe publication gave a version as a strathspey ("I'm O'er Young to Marry Yet (2))", while James Kerr set it as a jig ("I'm Ow're Young"), indicating origins in Scotland.
