WHITE BLANKET [3], THE (An Súisín Bán). Irish, Air (3/4 time). B Flat Major (O'Sullivan/Bunting). Standard tuning (fiddle). One part. O'Sullivan (1983) notes there are several versions of both air and words extant under different titles and refers to a list given in DOSB vol. 1, p. 65 (in conjunction with the song "The Twisting of the Rope"). This air retains some currency among traditional musicians today.
