SOUTH BRIDGE, THE. Irish, Reel (cut time). A Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). ABC. "The South Bridge" is a reel contained in the music manuscript collection of curate and fiddler biography:Rev. Luke Donnellan of the Oriel region, south Ulster. Donnellan researcher Gerry O'Connor identifies "Musical Priest" as a correspondent melody, and also set the tune in the key of A dorian, altered from the original ms. which had no accidentals in the key signature.
