ADELINE. American, Reel (cut time). USA, Kentucky. A Mixolydian/Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. From the repertoire of Luther Strong (1892-1962), a fiddler from Hazard, Perry County, southeastern Kentucky, from the Harlen/Hayden region. He was recorded in the field in 1937 for the Library of Congress by Alan and Elizabeth Lomax.
