BLACK SATIN. American, Reel. G Major. GDad tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'. The tune was in the repertoire of the Perry County (Tenn.) Music Makers-Nonnie Presson and Bulow Smith on zither and gtr., who recorded several sides for Vocalion Records in 1930. Nonnie learned the tune from a local banjo player, Will Warren.
