G Major (Harker/Rafferty, Miller & Perron, Mulvihill, Sullivan, Tubridy): D Major (Flaherty, Mulvihill). Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB (most versions): AA'BB' (Tubridy): AABBCC (Miller & Perron/1977). "Munster Buttermilk (2)" has been identified as the Sliabh Luachra (Cork/Kerry border region) name for "Sports of Multyfarnham (The)." Bronx fiddler Martin Mulvihill (1923-1987) gave his G Major version as an alternate accompaniment for the set dance The Seige of Ennis.
