WILL ATKINSON’S SCHOTTISCHE. English, Schottische. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBCC. Atkinson remembered hearing the tune at a young age (8), at a kirn (harvest) festival. A two part version (corresponding to the first and third of Atkinson's parts) was recorded by Sligo fiddler Michael Gorman as "James Gannon's Barn Dance (4)."
