CIRCUS REEL, THE. AKA and see "Glasgow Lasses (1) (The)," "Glasgow Lasses (2) (The)," "Miss Margaret Greirson's." Scottish, Reel (cut or whole time). F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The title probably has associations with the Royal Circus of Edinburgh, established by equestrian John Bill Ricketts and John Parker in 1791.
