PUNCHINELLO [3]. AKA and see "Harry's Delight." English, Country Dance Tune (whole time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. This particular “Punchinello” tune (there were several bearing the name) is unique under the 'Punchinello' title to London publisher Charles and Samuel Thompson’s 1765 country dance collection. The melody, however, was later printed by Straight and Skillern in their Two Hundred and Four Favourite Country Dances, vol. 1 (London, c. 1775) as "Harry's Delight."
